M-AUDIO PULLS THE TRIGGER AGAIN

Trigger Finger Pro for web

Recently we’re seeing more and more of these kinds of live performance controllers. M-Audio has resurrected its Trigger Finger controller from nearly a decade ago to bring us the new Trigger Finger Pro. Calling it a “performance instrument and software control station” it offers an interface chockers with playing pads, a 16 step sequencer, faders and rotary controllers, many of them multi-layered to provide extra functions, but what’s really setting these devices apart from their predecessors is the much-improved storage technology allowing for large, internal libraries of sounds. Along with AIR Drums and Hybrid 3 plug-ins, Trigger Finger Pro includes 8 GB of ready-to-play sounds, loops and one-shots. It’s all part of new software called Arsenal and if the studio is your thing, via a USB-MIDI connection Arsenal also promises that the Trigger Finger Pro will quickly map itself to your DAW of choice. At this point, www.m-audio.com hasn’t got a lot of info, but the internet is littered with NAMM videos.
