Audio-Technica’s latest true-wireless in-ear release, the ATH-CKS50TW, is the first to combine solid bass acoustic technology with active noise-cancelling. With 9mm large-diameter drivers, the headphones capably reproduce lower sound frequencies.

The ATH-CKS50TW can be activated using one of the buttons located on the headphone or the Audio-Technica Connect App. The app also allows users to customise button functions, activate the hear-through mode, adjust the equaliser to their taste, and even locate missing headphones.

The high capacity battery delivers up to 20 hours of continuous playback and an additional 30 hours if used with the charging case – 50 hours in total. Additionally, the fast-charging option yields 90 minutes of playback after a brief 10 minutes of charging. The headphones also come with an IPX4 waterproof rating, handling splashing water from all directions with ease.

A new staple of Audio-Technica True Wireless and Bluetooth headphones is the multi-pairing feature. The ATH-CKS50TW can be paired with more than one device simultaneously, allowing the listener to switch between them without disconnecting.
The headphones use Qualcomm cVcTM (clear voice capture) Generation 8.0, which cancel echo and suppress ambient noise during phone calls.

Another piece of software integrated into the ATH-CKS50TW is the Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring. Only one earpiece is directly connected to the device via Bluetooth 5.2, while the other mirrors the sound. When the connected earpiece is turned off, the other automatically connects to the device. This allows for a more energy-saving and stable operation.
The ATH-CKS50TW also offer a fully immersive listening experience, featuring 360 Reality Audio using Sony’s object-based 360 Spatial Sound technology.

The wireless earbuds are available in stores and online from the 10th of February and have an RRP of AUD 249
